Parma! is excited to announce the release of our new Nut-Free Parma! Line – Jalapeno Bacon and Garlic Basil. The beauty of Parma! is that it gives meals a flavor boost, it’s nutrient-dense, considered a functional food, is processed oil-free, is 100% plant-based, and is very minimally processed and now comes in nut-free options And, by the way, it tastes great too!
Over the years, many of you have asked us for a nut-free version of Parma! and we heard you. In developing our new Jalapeno Bacon and Garlic Basic flavors, we’ve replaced the walnuts with organic pumpkin seeds and are using dedicated machinery in order to ensure the purity and wholesomeness of each and every jar.
Pumpkin seeds are a superfood
In addition to providing a wonderful flavor, pumpkin seeds have many health benefits and are in fact considered a superfood in themselves. More specifically, pumpkin seeds are one of the highest natural food sources of L-arginine – the amino acid which plays an important role in nitric oxide production, a magic ingredient in fighting heart disease. Pumpkin seeds are also high in zinc, are good for post-menopausal women and help the body build protein, among other health benefits. Moreover, pumpkin seeds are rich in essential minerals and are food allergy friendly.
